If you are affected by TMJ syndrome then you must know about the depth of pain caused by it. TMJ stands for temporomandibular joint.

The next exercise similarly starts with the same kind of position as in the previous one.
Even though the starting positions are identical the second exercise demands to stay quite in a position in which one has to hold his jaw alongside his hand for at least 5 seconds.
Continue this for a few more times after going back to the initial position. And one can also relax by doing another exercise by moving the lower jaw from side to side.
The TMJ syndrome can also be seen in terms of posture. A good posture doesn't create any negative influence on the TMJ.
You have got all reasons in being surprised. The posture has to be enhanced in order to get a correct alignment in the body and to stop the growth of painful TMJ syndrome in shoulder, neck and back.
To check about the status of the posture you can stand in front of a mirror and compare your two arms to find whether they are equal in length and whether the shoulders are of same height.
Next note whether your head turns a little towards one direction. Complicated problems arise if any of the above said non adaptability adjustments exist.
Chin facing upwards and a correction in the back making it to a straight vertical line help to achieve a correct posture. This reduces the TMJ syndrome pain in a period of time.
The other way to get the good posture is by doing yoga which not only helps in posture betterment but also enables to overcome the TMJ problems.
Another great way to solve the TMJ is by acupressure techniques in the pressure point related to jaw. The point is just between the thumb and the index finger.
The pain is reduced by holding the one hand with the other hand and by pressing and holding the pressure point with the thumb for a minute.
These are old exercises used to cure TMJ. With growing techniques I have developed various new exercises which are really very effective than the old ones which I told previously.
